Not a fan of Jade Rollers? We weren’t either until we discovered the benefits of using textured rollers to manipulate the muscles and increase movement in the underlying tissue. Movement, that is essential for healthy, glowing skin.
Let the stone do the work! The unique design creates a natural vibration when rolling and subsequent “ripple” effect for increased lymphatic flow and micro-circulation. By following specific pathways, you can direct the flow of fluids and removal of cellular waste from the tissue. To release tension on the neck, try quickly rolling the “tractor tire” threads up and down to increase blood flow and disband myofascial tension.
Jiacui Jade Benefits
Jiacui is similar in quality to Xiuyan Jade, but with more color variations within the stone and stunning when polished. Contains a variety of trace elements beneficial to the human body. Regular use can make human cells more energetic.
Pressure
Always work superficial to deep, support the skin, work with the muscles and remember,
Light = lymphatic drainage (doesn’t have to be smooth to affect lymph)
Medium = iron out connective tissue & fascia (think fine lines & deep wrinkles)
Firm (not deep) = relieve tension and adhesions along bones, reduce appearance of scarring
Daily use improves elasticity, reduces inflammation and through increased micro-circulation and lymphatic flow, cleanses the tissue and helps keep the space around the cells pristine, so healthy skin can flourish.
Jade is a semi-precious gemstone used in traditional Chinese medicine. It’s been used for thousands of years in China dating back to 7th Century. Jade is inherently cool and rich with revitalizing vital energies that support the functions of the skin.
Use:
After cleansing, apply oil or moistuizer, and apply the spiked roller over the face for a minute or two with light pressure to warm the tissue. As you work, you can focus on specific areas of concern (deep wrinkles, fine lines, tension in the jaw or brows) and SLOWLY apply more pressure if needed. Less is more, so after working an area for 1-2 minutes, move to another area and keep moving allowing time for the face to absorb and respond to the work. Caution: use light pressure around the eye area.
The Jade Swirl Roller can be warmed or placed in the freezer to cool.
